Does the 80sg normally run a little lean? After it gets warmed up it seems to run quite well! I just dont want to cause any damage to the internals with too lean of a mixture.

Oh yeah! One more thing, when stopped and sitting in first it'll sometimes slip out and into neutral. Trans issues seem like a common thing for these bikes, it also doesn't help that with the MAC4-2...
