I have one.
It is on an '81 Venture I am getting rid of. It has 2 small cracks about 1.5 inches each on the upper corners of the lamp opening. It has the shield, but it is scratched deep in a few areas.

Also, I have seen posts where shops don't like/will not work on old bikes. Is there some kind...

Case finish?
I want to clean up my cases, but do not want to mess up the finish. Are these cases painted, or is it some kind of anodization?
I've read some old threads, but could not find a definitive.
