Unhappy Crash Bar Smashed! Need another one...

I dumped my 78 XS11 last July 2007 and want to find another right side crash bar that got smashed. It did its job and protected the engine, but it sacrificed itself in the crash. Anybody out there...

I just won the right to buy (you never win anything on eBay) a 4-into-1-exhaust header on eBay, for only $114.50! Now I'd like to get the 4 filters. All this is new to me too and I'd like to do it...

Unburned fluorocarbons...

I was told one day that they could tell I was on my bike because of these unburned fluorocarbons! Since then, I always enjoyed the aroma, felt like a real biker, in fact I enjoy most of the smells...

Angry Frame numbers are different!

I found out from my local Yamaha dealer/mechanic that the frame numbers are different on the 78/79 vs. 80/82 frames, so these floorboards probably won't fit. I just saved myself a $250 mistake! ...

I was told that when adding a fairing you should also adjust the forks. Are there 3 different tension adjustments? How is this done? I don't see anything about this procedure. My bike is a 1978...
