I have Tygon fuel line I bought on E Bay years ago. Good stuff, easy to work with and hardens up over time but it will take a while. The black fuel line sold in auto parts stores break down over time.

I did away with the octy years ago and went with a Pingel vacuum fuel valve. You eliminate hoses and in order to remove the carbs on my XS,I just disconnect 1 fuel line and 1 vacuum hose.

Years ago you could not even tell MIKES XS you had an 1100 as he wouldn't deal with people that told him that. Been years since I dealt with him. The gasket has 3 screws it looks like holding it on.
