Yep, 36 is max pressure for a fully loaded bike and/or a heavy rider. You likely won't need that much, but you never know especially on those bumpy dirt roads.

The XS650 looks like a great bike, I have never ridden one. Ben, I would think you may be disappointed in the power as compared to an XS11 or a Suzy Bandit. It is nice to get up and out of the way...

I hope there will be a solution to the photo hosting problem we have here, the way it works now is a big deterrent for people who want to post pictures which are vital for technical repairs and such....

Awesome bro, it should ride better too with fresh oil. Good tip on removing old seals. If you have too much dive you can raise the oil level in each fork slightly.

If the ones you have are the correct ID and OD but just too short, they should still work. I usually make a spacer out of PVC pipe to take up any gap...
