Wire gauge for stator?

I need to do rewiring. If someone reading this knows the gauge of the wires at the stator connector, I would appreciate that info.

I believe that splice is below the left engine side (case) cover. Not to be confused with the plastic cover on the side of the bike.

The fuel cap seal is available OEM. All of the Specials use the same one. XS11, XS850, XS750, XS650. If you buy OEM, it should last 35 years.

Special? Without looking at a wiring diagram, I'd have to say that circuit is powered whenever the key is on. The thermistor acts as a switch to turn the light on.
