Led Bulbs
All the globes on my XS are LED except the headlight.
Even the instrument lights.
As for the relay just get one that does not need a load

Blinker relay
You need a blinker relay that does not need a load
This bloke is in Australia but it will give you an idea about what you need.
I just put a low current relay where the cutoff from the cancel unit...
