Good job finding one that needs a home. Would be fun and rewarding to get it back in smooth operation and good looks. Well done!

Looks all there, plenty of rusty crusties to deal with. Good luck on your project.

Like the important things in life...marriage...parenting...golf...keeping these old bike going is a heaping pile of frustration with a garnish of joy that makes it worthwhile.

Nick,
That's some heart you have rescuing that F in the middle of winter. I wonder how many winters it spent exposed to the elements.
It looks to be all there, have fun bringing it back to life.

the guy I bought it from said that it was garaged...last sticker on plate is '95, so about 20 years

my first F hasn't ran in about 25 years (87), but it was in a lot better shape and a lot less miles (7k)

this one I think I will have to pull motor out of the frame and do total R&R, but right now it's just to damn cold here

Ian, I gotta tell you, it was a steal!
