BooHoo

Sort of sad day.

I sold one of my Triples yesterday because I am getting more bikes than I can attend to:

Made friends with the new owner. He had Harley, then a new Kawasaki Versys 650. Believe it or not, he wanted to sell the Versys and have the XS750 instead.

It's comforting to know it will be loved instead of chopped up...after I spent the effort to get it correct again.

(its only a parts bike)

Yeah, even Louann was even a bit wistful about selling that bike. I told her the Bagger was next and she wailed, "NNOOOOOO!!!!! " I think I married the right girl.

I guess you are ahead for now, but we're not dead yet.

Louann and I plan to move 4.5 hours away in about 3 years. I have to ration my stable until then. Look out after that, as I plan to have a 40x60 pole barn if things work out as planned. On the other hand, I'll be constrained by a retirement budget.

I figure you are thinking to transplant some R6 parts, particularly front forks, onto one of your custom projects.

Smile Not another one!!!! YEP! ANOTHER ONE

Mike,
Seems I'm likely to take a bigger lead.

When I went to grab the 600 frame I was introduced to another bike. It has been in the shop for 3 years. Was running when taken there but needed some work. Owner is VERY anxious to sell.....

IF and only IF they can find the title.....

This is what it is SUPPOSED to look like.....

Marty says it looks better than most of the junk I drag home.

I can't pass it up for the price IF THE TITLE CAN BE FOUND

Cool

Kurt:

That is so cool. I hope it works out for you.

I have to admit, I am becoming sport bike curious.

The biggest thing holding me back is the stigma, same as the Harley image is incompatible for me.

Sport bikes are fun, and they stop and turn nicely! I can’t even say I mind the seating position, just can’t be trusted with the power.
I’ve been told the r-6 is the perfect motorcycle

R6 sucks, imo. I have an R1. Power is fun, but seat position is painful.
