81 650 Maxim
Picking up an '81 650 Maxim tomorrow for $300. This will be my wifes new bike in the spring after she takes the course.
Needs a bit of work but will be a fun project when Im done with my 11 this winter. Tank has a good dent it it so will probably replace that, fork seals leak, needs new tires and probably brakes. Seems to run well although carbs could use a cleaning. Will get some pics up tomorrow.

Ok time for pics. The first 3 are as it was when I got it. A couple horrible angle iron highway pegs, very dirty and a lot of pieces taken off. Thankfully he saved all the parts. I got all but the blinkers put back on tonight and washed it up. Im going to ride it to work for the next couple days to make sure it runs right then start tearing into it.

that is probably the ugliest piece of anything i have seen on a bike. At least the bike looks pretty good.
