How to unsubscribe from the Mail List
When you first subscribe to the mail list the thought of unsubscribing is the furthest thing from your mind. But some people don't like or can't handle receiving around a hundred messages per day. Some people sell their XS11 or XJ11. =8^0 Or maybe you're going out of town for a while and just need to stop your mailbox from filling up while you're away. If that's you then you'll need to make a decision. Do you want to unsubscribe or suspend delivery of list mail?
Unsubscribing or suspending list mail is pretty simple. Just go to http://www.egroups.com and type your email address and password (the same ones you registered with) and click the Member Center button.
That will transfer you to the Member Center page where you can:
- change your email address or password
- change your user profile
- log in under a different email address
- turn on/off the digest mode
- turn on/off the No Mail mode
- Unsubscribe from the list
The No Mail mode is very useful for when you go on vacation or need to suspend the delivery of messages to you by email. You can still read the archives with your browser.
