Chain-Drive Conversion
The following tip from Justin Lassy was true a long time ago but apparently not any more. Here's an email I just received (2/27/01):
"I just talked to the individual you have listed in your tip for doing these conversions and he no longer does them and wanted his name and number removed from your site. He said he only has done a couple of them and those were done about 6 years ago. He has not done any since then nor is he planning to do so. He said he would greatly appreciate it if you could remove him from this site. I don't believe he has an e-mail address."
Original Tip:
Hey, if any of you are interested in losing the shaft drive for a chain setup, contact John xxxxxxx of xxxxxxx. Phone number is xxx-xxx-xxxx. I've been doing research on a chain drive conversion for my Vmax, and when I was talking to him, he said he did conversion kits for the XS-11.
